Once upon a time, there was a small and charming village. In the center of this village, there was a large tree with big branches. Every year, when Valentine’s Day arrived, the villagers would gather under this tree, make wishes, and speak kind words to one another. Everyone believed the tree had magic.
But this year, things were different. Valentine’s Day was approaching, yet the tree looked dry and wilted. Normally, its branches would be lush and green at this time, but now they were bare and colorless. The villagers, confused, began to ask each other:
— “What happened to this beautiful tree?”
— “Why isn’t it shining this year?”
A little girl named Lily was very upset about this because she loved the tree and would always leave it a small letter. She took her best friend, Jack, and went to see the oldest sage of the village, Grandfather Hassan.
Grandfather Hassan listened to the children carefully and then smiled, saying:
— “The Love Tree only comes to life when it feels love. But this year, no one in the village has shown each other sincere love. Simply celebrating with gifts and decorations isn’t enough. What’s important is doing a kind deed from the heart.”
Lily and Jack immediately sprang into action. First, they brought a bouquet of flowers to Aunt Sarah, who lived alone. Then, they built a little shelter for the kittens shivering in the street. They helped the baker in the village and distributed the bread. All day long, they did kind things around the village.
When evening came, the villagers were in great astonishment. The Love Tree had returned to its former glory! Its leaves had blossomed, and tiny lights began to sparkle on its branches. As people hugged and thanked each other, Lily and Jack looked at each other and smiled. They knew the secret to this miracle was sharing love.
From that day on, the villagers celebrated Valentine’s Day not only by giving gifts but also by doing kind deeds and showing their love for one another. And the Love Tree became more beautiful every year.
And the fairy tale ended here with a happy ending…
