Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived three little pigs, each one with a heart full of dreams. One day, their mother told them it was time to leave the nest and build their own homes. So, the three little pigs set off in different directions to begin their new lives.
The first little pig, being rather lazy, decided to build his house out of straw. “This will be easy and quick!” he said, and in no time, he finished his house and settled inside, feeling proud of how little work it took.
The second little pig was a bit more thoughtful, but still not very hardworking. He decided to build his house out of sticks. “Not as fast as straw, but still pretty quick,” he thought. So, he built his house and moved in, ready to relax.
The third little pig, however, was the most clever and hard-working of them all. He decided to build his house out of bricks. “It will take longer, but it will be strong and last,” he said. So, he carefully built his brick house, taking his time to make sure it was solid and sturdy.
Nearby, there lived a big bad wolf who was always hungry and on the lookout for a meal. One day, he spotted the first little pig’s straw house and, with a growl, he approached the door. “Little pig, little pig, let me in!” he called. The little pig, shaking with fear, shouted back, “Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!”
The wolf huffed and puffed and blew the house down. The straw house crumbled, and the little pig ran as fast as he could to his brother’s stick house.
The wolf, hungry for more, followed him to the second little pig’s house made of sticks. “Little pigs, little pigs, let me in!” the wolf growled again. But the pigs replied, “Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!”
The wolf took a deep breath and blew the stick house down. The two little pigs ran as fast as they could, making their way to the third little pig’s strong brick house.
Now, the wolf was getting frustrated. He followed the two pigs to the brick house and called, “Little pigs, little pigs, let me in!” But the pigs answered together, “Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!”
The wolf huffed and puffed with all his might, but no matter how hard he blew, the brick house didn’t budge. Furious, the wolf decided to climb down the chimney to sneak in. But the clever little pigs had prepared for this! They had set a large pot of boiling water under the chimney.
As the wolf descended, he fell straight into the pot and scorched his tail. With a howl of pain, he scrambled back up the chimney and ran off, never to be seen again.
And from that day forward, the three little pigs lived happily and safely in their strong brick house, learning that hard work, patience, and wisdom always pay off in the end.
